Q. Where and when does Damnation Festival take place?

A. Damnation takes place at Bowlers Exhibition Centre, across three stages on Saturday 2nd November 2024. The pre-show, A Night of Salvation takes place on the 1st of November 2024.

Q. How much are tickets?

A. Tickets are priced from £88 (plus booking fees) for the main day. Combination tickets cost more.

Q: Is there parking at the event?

A: There is no parking on site. The venue car park is used to house all of our food vendors, our merch tent and some chill out space. The little parking that remains is used to park up the crew and artists working across the day. The Bowlers Exhibition Centre is located in a large industrial estate and there is plenty of parking found on the streets around the venue. Alternatively the Metrolink Park & Ride is only a 5 minute walk away from the venue.

Q: WHAT time are doors at?

A: Doors on the main day will be at midday. We will communicate the opening time for the preshow closer to the event.

Q: I’ve lost/misplaced my e-ticket. What do I do?

A: If you have bought your e-ticket through the Damnation Festival website, complete the contact form below, including the email address that your e-ticket was originally sent to and we can reissue you the e-ticket. Alternatively a reminder will be sent out closer to the time with your ticket attached.

Q: Someone else booked my tickets and it has their name on it. Do the tickets need to be in my name?

A: No. We do not check names on tickets against ID on the door. It does not matter what name is on the ticket.

Q: I can no longer attend the event. can i get a refund on my ticket?

A: In line with the practices of most other events and festivals, we only offer refunds if Damnation Festival is cancelled, rescheduled or has changed location. This in in line with the regulations of the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers (STAR). However we have no objections to you selling on your ticket to someone else. May we recommend a site like Twickets with which to sell your e-ticket.

Q: CAN MY BAND PERFORM AT DAMNATION?

A: We receive hundreds of applications each year which takes considerable time to get through each one. Also given the very limited number of slots available at Damnation, it is the case that the callibre of bands is very high, with even our opening bands often having already extensive touring under their belts, albums in their back catalogue and a presence that has fans turning up as soon as doors open. For now we have decided to pause the application process. We may resume this again in future years.

Q: I need help negotiating my way around the venue because of my disability. Can I get a carers ticket?

A: Yes we provide those with a registered disability with a free carers ticket. Fill out the contact form with 'Carer's Ticket' in the subject box and we'll take care of things from there. Carer’s tickets are generally issued in September each year, but applications are taken all year around.

Q: Is there a minimum age for attending Damnation Festival?

A: Damnation is a 14+ event so unfortunately children below that age are unable to attend. Those aged 14-17 must be accompanied by a person aged over 18 to gain admittance to the venue.

Q: Can I bring my camera with me?

A: Yes you can bring your camera but you do so at your own peril. Don’t come to us, if the big sweaty guy in the pit bumps into you and knocks your SLR out of your hand. However, do come to us if you’ve gotten some great shots that you want to share with us.

Q: How do I get there?

A: People come to Damnation from all corners of the British Isles, so be sure to check for flights into Manchster Airport if you’re coming from afar – Megabus and various rail companies also offer great deals to Manchester.
