I've just wiped my iPhone and am looking for about 6gb of music to put on there, for listening to on the bus to work. Usually I'd fill that with my favourites... Nirvana, Metallica, The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Prodigy... The same old, same old.

Seeing as it feels like ages since I discovered some good new music, I'll let you cunts pick what I put on there.

One album each, something you don't think I've heard, with a link to download it. I'll be rating the fuck out them, too.

Fire in.

That Angels Of Light album is a stonking record.

Trying to think of something you might actually like is hard.

Kraftwerk - The Man-Machine

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=tedj1u00

If you've heard that then try Tim Hecker - Harmony In Ultra-Violet

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=miogwdx2

Denounce - Deep wood, Shallow Grave

probably the best unsigned metal band in kent (panic cell not included)
http://www.emusic.com/album/Denounce-Deep-Wood-Shallow-Grave-MP3-Download/11374049.html
(don't know a free download site)
not as if in trying to influence your decisions in any way

I've tried Kraftwerk before and it didn't do a lot for me. So we'll try this Tim chap.

And Tom, that's quite a recommendation... I'll hunt them down on iTunes or some other download site. I'm even willing to pay for this new music Surprised

I recognise the name actually, I wonder if I have a demo of theirs here...

That Kraftwerk album is terrific, see also: Trans Europe Express. They really are an album band IMO.

If you've not listened to Pavement:

Pavement - Brighten the Corners
http://www.mediafire.com/?io2jbcm9ydl

If you have listened to Pavement:

Reuben - Very Fast Very Dangerous
http://rapidshare.com/files/16657967/Very_Fast.zip

If you've listened to both of the above:

The Sound of Animals Fighting - Tiger and the Duke
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GNH6QCDQ

And yes, Kraftwerk's 'The Man Machine' is excellent. Smile

EDIT: And I've got Deep Wood, Shallow Grave, it's a grand slab of metal for sure.

If so...i say: The Crown-Crowned In Terror

Thomas Lindberg at his best in my opinion.

I have to admit i'm not that clued up on downloading/uploading albums and all that megatorrentuploadfire jazz, so I can't provide you with any links. My votes would have to go to Burnt by the Sun's Heart Of Darkness and, for a change of pace, The Horrors' Primary Colours. Great albums.

Mike, seeing as it's you, I'll break my own rules and take two off you - Pavement and The Sound of Animals Fighting.

Jay, can be anything - I'll grab that one too. Gav, magic, and Moz I'll try Burnt By The Sun.

I don'yt know if you've ever really listened top them, and you'd probably like them a lot, so:

The Smiths - Hatful of Hollow

if you have

Nachtmystium - Assasins: Black Meddle Pt; I

Don't be mean. I know G likes alot of bland guff like Frightened Rabbit, but Fleet Foxes are a step too far.
